Determination of the Conditions and Tools
Objective: To identify the necessary conditions which may need to be in place in order to be able to tackle the problem(s).
Activity: Participants analyse their own conditions
Ask Spect-actors:
- What new resources need to be in place?
- What actions do we need to take for change to happen?
Facilitator Tip: The key message here is that sometimes we have the necessary tools and/or
conditions to deal with the situation, but because we may be overwhelmed we do not see them.
Quote from Boal: "The knowledge which results from this investigation will, of necessity, be
the best that particular human social group can attain at that particular moment in time."
